Meet Chase Lindsay Rosen - Content and Social Media Director at BANDIER
There are some people who pop up on social media and they just "get it." They know how to tell a story through a photo or caption and know how to create, engage and grow their audience. Chase is one of the lucky ones who "gets it" so when I learned she was the brains behind social media at ultra-cool BANDIER, I knew I needed to include her somehow on this site. I recently decided to add a "Cool Jobs" feature to the BEHIND the BRAND Interview Series so Chase was the obvious first choice!
I've had the pleasure of meeting this NYC based powerhouse, but wanted to learn more her role at BANDIER so Chase is sharing her BEHIND the BRAND "Cool Jobs" story of what's it's like to be all things social media at one of the industries hottest brands.

As Content + Social media Director, what are your job responsibilities or what does your role entail?
I run all digital touch points at BANDIER, including strategy and execution on all BANDIER's social media platforms (totaling over 100K followers). Additionally, I'm the Editor of BANDIER's online magazine, B-LINE which features movers and shakers within the brand's pillars of FASHION FITNESS MUSIC. In the past almost year since launching BANDIER.com, I have published stories featuring all types of people, from professional women's hockey player Hilary Knight to pop star, Jordin Sparks. Last but not least, I manage all influencer relationships.
What's a typical day like as the Content Director?
What I love most about my job is that no two days are the same! Sometimes I'll be on set producing a photoshoot, another day I may be working with our eCommerce team to ensure our content is aligned with product deliveries and another day outlining stories for B-LINE. There is never a dull moment and what I love most about every day at work is that it never really feels like work :)
How does your role play into the overall picture at Bandier?
Social media and content is extremely important to BANDIER. Being a small company, branding at this stage is a huge priority and we've been able to grow at a super fast rate through curating exciting, brand-defining and engaging content.
Biggest success thus far?
Growing our Instagram following from 8K to 80K in a year!
Conversely, biggest failure?
Having a few typos here and there in social media posts! So embarrassing but hey, I'm only human!
Top three tools you can't live without
For work...VSCO Cam, DropBox and my MacBook Air.
Top three things you wish you knew before you began your role
Hmm.. I'm not sure! I feel like I've learned so much, it's tough to tell what I didn't exactly know before!
Who's your career crush and why?
My career crush is Kate Blythe, Global Content Director of Matches Fashion. She is in a role where I hope to be in the future. I am so impressed by the level of content she produces, the alignment between original content and the brand and how beautiful and interesting it all is!
What advice would you give to a newbie or someone looking to break into the industry with a new and upcoming brand?
Be patient and work hard.
Bandier has continued to grow with the opening of its new retail space in NYC, so what can we expect to see in 2016?
Even more stores, exclusive collaborations, exciting events and amazing content, of course!
